Well, I found out the cheque cleared yesterday morning, so that's definitely £200 gone. However, the boyf called me and told me that he managed to cancel his cheque before it went through. Meaning once again I am out of pocket and he is fine and dandy.

Taking the grand total of money wasted this summer up to around £400.

However, I was chatting to the ex last night, and he thinks he might have somewhere for me to stay... Apparently a friend of his who is manager of a local theatre has just been shat on (not literally, obv) by his flatmate and is desperately looking for someone to replace him. So far all I know is that its a duplex apartment in the Victorian/Georgian area of town, which is rather trendy, and its a five minute walk from uni, shops and pubs, which is a hell of a lot better than the 15 minute walk and 40 minute bus journey I have to make at the moment.

Not sure the boyf will like me living with another guy, especially another guy who is mates with my ex, but tough. Rent is only £300/mth and I'll be saving loads on travelling costs.

So fingers crossed everyone! Need to be moved out hopefully within 10 days.....
